With her steady presence, years of experience and intuitive awareness, Janet will support you through your pregnancy. Together you will work closely to establish a yoga practice that can support you throughout your pregnancy, help prepare for childbirth and resource you for postpartum recovery. The 3 x 90 minute sessions will cover:
essential daily movements to help build strength, support pregnancy and prepare for labour and parenthood
poses to try during labour
breathing practices for anxiety, birth and connecting to baby
Pregnancy, birth, and post-birth is a magical and intense time. It is an emotional and spiritual experience. It is transformational and life-altering.
Janet shares from the Poppy Perinatal Yoga style, designed to help people:
1) balance and align the body and emotions
2) skillfully soften and relax within intensity
3) increase stamina and endurance for the realities of labor, childbirth, and postpartum recovery
The yoga and breathing practices meet you where you’re at and accommodate your needs during pregnancy and post-birth, whether you need a slow/gentle practice or moderate to more athletic practice.
You will learn skills that support you through pregnancy, labour and during the precious postpartum period.
ONLINE Prenatal YoGA group
Intimate online prenatal yoga groups. Connect with other pregnant people and learn yoga and breathing practices to meet you where you’re at and accommodate your needs during pregnancy.
